Gill Persoons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopold Bernage went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Andris Meulemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Peter-Jan Lambrechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gill Persoons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Eernegem's Gwenn Scheppers got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jan Vischkens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gill Persoons having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Sebastien Cerneels reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gill Persoons. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 95th minute Emanuel De Weyngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Persoons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
