Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Hemiksem getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Walter Cornelis hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Ritchie de Nijs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fre Van Aghten saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ritchie de Nijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fre Van Aghten having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hemiksem's goalkeeper Fre Van Aghten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to SSC Hogerop Rotschot getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Albert van Hollebecke hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregory Bautmans in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bobby Henderickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert van Hollebecke kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Gregory Bautmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Henderickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, SSC Hogerop Rotschot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert van Hollebecke to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Bautmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Henderickx having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, SSC Hogerop Rotschot's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Bautmans came free, but Bobby Henderickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bobby Henderickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Du Sausois in the 36th minute of the match. Bobby Henderickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Bautmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregory Bautmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Henderickx having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Waud Schaerlaekens got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes, Sven Docx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hemiksem and the SSC Hogerop Rotschot players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Sven Docx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waud Schaerlaekens in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fre Van Aghten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Hemiksem's goal looked a bit too open when Waud Schaerlaekens came free, but Fre Van Aghten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SSC Hogerop Rotschot booed when Hemiksem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Cornelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waud Schaerlaekens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute Waud Schaerlaekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fre Van Aghten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ritchie de Nijs came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SSC Hogerop Rotschot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ritchie de Nijs couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hemiksem getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Giles Van Arschot hit a great ball. If Ritchie de Nijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SSC Hogerop Rotschot fully deserved thier win.
