In the 5th minute, Cornelis Costermans fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Berten Roukeloes, passed just outside the right post. When Yves Van Den Haecke fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mister D team's protests and gave Yves Van Den Haecke a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mister D team's Yves Van Den Haecke got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Marco Massenhove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jannick Stuyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Morreels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Mister D team's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Morreels came free, but Jannick Stuyck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Highdouk City getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marco Massenhove hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Lander Eggers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berten Roukeloes. Highdouk City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lander Eggers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Perry Morreels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannick Stuyck having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mister D team defense, Perry Morreels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jannick Stuyck. The Mister D team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jannick Stuyck should have stopped the shot. Cornelis Costermans kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Highdouk City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mister D team's Yves Van Den Haecke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Evert-Jan Eekhout in the 54 minute of the game. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Highdouk City's goalkeeper Berten Roukeloes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Van Dyck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Berten Roukeloes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Highdouk City's zone, Lander Eggers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berten Roukeloes came out of the goal and Lander Eggers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jannick Stuyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Morreels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelis Costermans charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelis Costermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 71 minutes, Christian Van Dyck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mister D team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Van Dyck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Highdouk City's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Van Dyck came free, but Berten Roukeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diederiek Gijselinckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berten Roukeloes having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Lander Eggers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lander Eggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perry Morreels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes Mister D team got a freekick which was hit by Yves Van Den Haecke. Jannick Stuyck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Morreels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Highdouk City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
