Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5656, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mathieu-Maxim Tilens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leo Van Landschoot's late challenge caught a Verrebeke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Van Landschoot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Leo Van Landschoot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Verrebeke's zone, Sebastien Demarrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Diericx came out of the goal and Sebastien Demarrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augustijn Deville came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Verrebeke's Jesse De Bruyn. But to his dismay, Jesse De Bruyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cederique Van de Goor hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Jesse De Bruyn came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Verrebeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesse De Bruyn couldn't finish the play. Augustijn Deville didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesse De Bruyn got free with Augustijn Deville in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wesley Diericx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastien Demarrez went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Wesley Diericx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert-Jan Raes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Verrebeke's Wesley Diericx got control of the ball when Sebastien Demarrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastien Demarrez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 65 played minutes RACING BRUSSELS got a freekick which was hit by Henri-Xavier Van Huyck. Jesse De Bruyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Verrebeke got a freekick which was hit by Harrie Imbreghts. After 75 played minutes Verrebeke got a freekick which was hit by Harrie Imbreghts. Gert-Jan Raes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Verrebeke got a freekick which was hit by Cederique Van de Goor. RACING BRUSSELS's Sebastien Demarrez got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Sebastien Demarrez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert-Jan Raes in the 85th minute of play forced Verrebeke's goalkeeper Wesley Diericx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verrebeke's Mathieu-Maxim Tilens got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustijn Deville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu-Maxim Tilens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mathieu-Maxim Tilens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verrebeke were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RACING BRUSSELS for a fine match.
