In the 26th minute, Cederik Jonckers made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Diericx. Verrebeke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Verrebeke's Jesse De Bruyn got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wesley Diericx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cederik Jonckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricky Gijselinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erik-Jan Sulems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Ricky Gijselinckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verrebeke's Wesley Diericx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik Jonckers in the 41st minute of play. Wesley Diericx made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ricky Gijselinckx sent off a good shot on target. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathieu-Maxim Tilens to strike the kick off in the second half.
