Rocky Cockaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Morreels, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. KVSK Boezinge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Perry Morreels scored to the left of an out of position Rocky Cockaerts, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to KVSK Boezinge getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Steven Ingelbert hit a great ball. Jacky Mattheijs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rocky Cockaerts. KVSK Boezinge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. KVSK Boezinge's Artur Candries got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Highdouk City's Berten Roukeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michiel Cuveliers in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Highdouk City's zone, Artur Candries stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berten Roukeloes came out of the goal and Artur Candries tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Marco Massenhove got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Perry Morreels's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rocky Cockaerts was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Candries to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, KVSK Boezinge's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Massenhove came free, but Rocky Cockaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik-Jan Owerckx charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 91st minute, Highdouk City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michiel Cuveliers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Candries kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Berten Roukeloes. That made the score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play.
