When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Binjamin Schol sped through SK Wilbrin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tjorven Baele. When Andre Konings fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Wilbrin's protests and gave Andre Konings a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Binjamin Schol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tjorven Baele was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Gert-Jan Van Bael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tjorven Baele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SK Zevergem's Binjamin Schol in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
