Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Josef Van der Veken made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Van der Veken in the 3rd minute of play forced KFC Spendenhoek's goalkeeper Karel-Jan Pijps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaus Van de Gaer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Karel-Jan Pijps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matijs Susters during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SPEK B booed when KFC Spendenhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matijs Susters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karel-Jan Pijps came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SPEK B's Klaus Van de Gaer. But to his dismay, Klaus Van de Gaer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tuur Cerneels was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dyllan Helssen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Kenneth Van Collenborgh kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tuur Cerneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dyllan Helssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Klaus Van de Gaer made a precise shot to the right of Karel-Jan Pijps. KFC Spendenhoek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, SPEK B's Niels Poortmans got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dyllan Helssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuur Cerneels having to interfere. Dyllan Helssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tuur Cerneels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dyllan Helssen kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Klaus Van de Gaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wilfried De Clercq fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPEK B's protests and gave Wilfried De Clercq a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dyllan Helssen to make the kick off. KFC Spendenhoek's Karel-Jan Pijps proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Spendenhoek from getting a goal against them. Dyllan Helssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tuur Cerneels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tuur Cerneels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dyllan Helssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Nicky Sommers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaus Van de Gaer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Nicky Sommers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuur Cerneels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Tuur Cerneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dyllan Helssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dyllan Helssen in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuur Cerneels saved SPEK B from getting behind. Matijs Susters kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. KFC Spendenhoek's Karel-Jan Pijps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Van der Veken in the 92nd minute of play. SPEK B's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
