Camiel Impens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qwinten Windelinckx in the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Nicolaas Meersmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Velveken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolaas Meersmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 minutes, Lenny Armentier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Velveken and the Bloodlust Soldiers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, SC Velveken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Armentier to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Bloodlust Soldiers's protests and gave Kenny Huijbrechts a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bloodlust Soldiers booed when SC Velveken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsene Dillemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Billie Renotte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
