Niels Ingelborchs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serge Limpens in the 21st minute of the match. Tommy Vranx hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Bouillon's Sebastian Terhorst got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serge Limpens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, KVSK Kontich's Dean Castermans got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Bouillon's Sebastian Terhorst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chris-George Koenens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niels Ingelborchs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Limpens, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Terreur in the 53rd minute of play forced KVSK Kontich's goalkeeper Chris-George Koenens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Pierre Terreur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KVSK Kontich's Chris-George Koenens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Terhorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris-George Koenens having to interfere. After 66 played minutes KVSK Kontich got a freekick which was hit by Dean Castermans. In the 67th minute Pierre Terreur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris-George Koenens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Terhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, KVSK Kontich's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Terreur came free, but Chris-George Koenens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, KVSK Kontich's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pierre Terreur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chris-George Koenens made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Sebastian Terhorst sent off a good shot on target. Bouillon's Pierre Terreur got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niels Ingelborchs came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by KVSK Kontich's Ruud Jaddon. But to his dismay, Ruud Jaddon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Kontich's zone, Sebastian Terhorst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris-George Koenens came out of the goal and Sebastian Terhorst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bouillon's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because KVSK Kontich had won, even though Bouillon had held more of the ball.
