Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lorenz Kerselaers took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fc De Tommies were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after SpaC AC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennart De Mesemaekre took the corner. The corner led to Fc De Tommies's Wes Louckx getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Heijligem in the 13th minute of play forced Fc De Tommies's goalkeeper Levi Van de Goor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herve Heijligem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Van de Goor having to interfere. Joey Van Aarschot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz Kerselaers in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Lorenz Kerselaers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc De Tommies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenz Kerselaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kim Walters in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joey Van Aarschot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Lorenz Kerselaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fc De Tommies booed when SpaC AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franky Vranckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Herve Heijligem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SpaC AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herve Heijligem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herve Heijligem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Levi Van de Goor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Lorenz Kerselaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Van Aarschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rein Van Hinnendael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Levi Van de Goor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Herve Heijligem managed to get in a good position for a shot. SpaC AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Herve Heijligem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levi Van de Goor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franky Vranckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Van de Goor having to interfere. SpaC AC's Joey Van Aarschot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save SpaC AC from getting a goal against them. If Kim Walters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Lorenz Kerselaers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joey Van Aarschot, 2-0.

Kim Walters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Kim Walters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herve Heijligem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc De Tommies's Levi Van de Goor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Van Hinnendael in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Fc De Tommies's Levi Van de Goor got control of the ball when Herve Heijligem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebbe Van Meerbeec hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fc De Tommies getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Laurent Vissenaekens hit a great ball. Herve Heijligem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Levi Van de Goor having to make a save. Herve Heijligem struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Levi Van de Goor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SpaC AC. Joey Van Aarschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Walters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Sebbe Van Meerbeec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc De Tommies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SpaC AC the free kick. Sebbe Van Meerbeec kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SpaC AC's Jan-Pieter Schipmans got a free kick in the 88th minute. Joey Van Aarschot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Walters in the 91st minute of the match. Rein Van Hinnendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Van de Goor having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fc De Tommies's zone, Luuk Van Daelen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levi Van de Goor came out of the goal and Luuk Van Daelen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
