In the 25th minute, Ac meloen's Philipp Manaers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Philipp Manaers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ac meloen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Philipp Manaers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ac meloen! Lorenz Kerselaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Kim Walters notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ac meloen's Charl Lijsens. Fc De Tommies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart De Mesemaekre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charl Lijsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Walters in the 48th minute of play.

In the 61stth minute of the game Lorenz Kerselaers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ac meloen's Charl Lijsens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robben Beekman hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Charl Lijsens made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Kim Walters sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Sebbe Van Meerbeec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charl Lijsens. The goal made the score 0-3. Lorenz Kerselaers struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Charl Lijsens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc De Tommies. Kim Walters scored 0-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charl Lijsens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
