In the 17th match minute, RSC Veurenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijs Cuppens to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Club Gozee's protests and gave Joop Van Leemputte a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Gozee's Joop Van Leemputte got a free kick in the 34th minute. Qwinten Van Caels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustave Lingier in the 35th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Floris De Keijsere to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Joery Ingelborgh made a precise shot to the right of Balthazar Severyns. RSC Veurenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Club Gozee's Qwinten Van Caels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Floris De Keijsere in the 68th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play Club Gozee's Joop Van Leemputte was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute, Joop Van Leemputte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Club Gozee's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Floris De Keijsere fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Balthazar Severyns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Gustave Lingier in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Qwinten Van Caels, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Floris De Keijsere didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 82nd minute. RSC Veurenberg's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! RSC Veurenberg's Floris De Keijsere got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qwinten Van Caels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustave Lingier in the 89th minute. If Gustave Lingier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Club Gozee supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RSC Veurenberg's performance. The match ended with a win for RSC Veurenberg.
