Maarten De Maesschalck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Binjamin Libesoons went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the game, Pino Colebinders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Hoogdonk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Desse the free kick. After a rather tough play, AFC Hoogdonk's Pino Colebinders got a free kick in the 84th minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys was a little too slow when Tommi Van Meerbek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 5-2. Pino Colebinders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarten De Maesschalck having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC Hoogdonk had played much better football throughout.
