Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Skouten started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Quillian Theuniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Soren De Worteleer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Skouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Denis Meulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeemanshaard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Meulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis-Philippe Mattheijs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th play minute Cederik Engelborghs came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jef Van Deinze. 2-0. The supporters of FC Beir booed when Zeemanshaard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soren De Worteleer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dan Skouten sped through FC Beir's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Louis-Philippe Mattheijs. Louis-Philippe Mattheijs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Skouten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Beir's Louis-Philippe Mattheijs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Lefevere in the 35th minute of play. Dan Skouten took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Louis-Philippe Mattheijs. Louis-Philippe Mattheijs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Dan Skouten struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Louis-Philippe Mattheijs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeemanshaard FC. Louis-Philippe Mattheijs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Skouten in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cederik Engelborghs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Terry Blomme got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Henry Van der Meiren. Jef Van Deinze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond De nuijter in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Soren De Worteleer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis-Philippe Mattheijs didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Louis-Philippe Mattheijs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Dan Skouten took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Louis-Philippe Mattheijs to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the match, FC Beir's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Meulders came free, but Louis-Philippe Mattheijs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Skouten in the 78th minute of play forced FC Beir's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Mattheijs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederik Engelborghs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jef Van Deinze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cederik Engelborghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Cederik Engelborghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jef Van Deinze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Zeemanshaard FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Beir.
