In the 45th minute, Zeemanshaard FC's Dan Skouten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loui Sielis. Loui Sielis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Zeemanshaard FC's Octave Dobbeleir quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robbrecht Voet, made in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of Zeemanshaard FC booed when Zoetwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toon Wynaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loui Sielis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Lefevere in the 88th minute of the match. Jef Van Deinze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yvan Denys in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
