Ruddervoorde's Boris Koppen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wart Boffin in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Oswald Goens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruddervoorde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfsem FC the free kick. Oswald Goens hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jose Delamenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Boris Koppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Koppen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose Delamenin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Wart Boffin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boris Koppen having to make a save. After 31 played minutes Wolfsem FC got a freekick which was hit by Wart Boffin. Wolfsem FC's Charl Ceustermans quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernst Rits, made in the 34th minute of the game. If Jose Delamenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruddervoorde's Boris Koppen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ruddervoorde from getting a goal against them. Boris Koppen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Delamenin in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Walter Leempoels made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Charl Ceustermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolfsem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charl Ceustermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Koppen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Jose Delamenin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfsem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Delamenin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jose Delamenin put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Boris Koppen. Jose Delamenin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Koppen having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Jose Delamenin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ruddervoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastien Van Kelf came free, but Boris Koppen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Delamenin struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Boris Koppen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolfsem FC. There was no doubt that Wolfsem FC were the better team. Wolfsem FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
