Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Skouten took the kick off in the first half of the match. Staak's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Dan Skouten scored to the left of an out of position David Volders, making the score, 1-0. Dan Lefevere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes of play, Staak's Camiel Leroy made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jef Van Deinze was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staak's goalkeeper David Volders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Skouten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. David Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Lefevere struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. David Volders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeemanshaard FC. In the 25th minute Dan Skouten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dan Skouten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Lefevere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. David Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Skouten in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Volders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Dan Skouten came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Zeemanshaard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Skouten couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Skouten in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Volders saved Staak from getting behind. Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Volders having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Staak's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Skouten came free, but David Volders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Meulders might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Volders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Meulders ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Denis Meulders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Volders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dan Skouten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert-Jan Vercasteren to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dan Skouten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Volders was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Zeemanshaard FC's Denis Meulders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Volders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dan Skouten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. David Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Skouten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Volders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Lefevere went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Zeemanshaard FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Octave Dobbeleir hit a great ball. Staak's David Volders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Skouten in the 68th minute of play. Denis Meulders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Staak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Van Beersel to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Zeemanshaard FC's Dan Skouten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Volders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Meulders in the 77th minute of play forced Staak's goalkeeper David Volders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Volders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Skouten went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Zeemanshaard FC booed when Staak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Van Beersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Dan Skouten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. David Volders was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Dan Skouten made a precise shot to the right of David Volders. Staak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Skouten in the 92nd minute of play forced Staak's goalkeeper David Volders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denis Meulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Zeemanshaard FC were the better team. Zeemanshaard FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
