In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Hoogdonk's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Goethuys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Waulsort's Mathieux Balckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Vissenaekers in the 6th minute of play. Dieter Wiggers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerard Ramps kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Dieter Wiggers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pieter-Jan Goethuys was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Elias Vissenaekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Slabbaert during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFC Hoogdonk's Louis Slabbaert got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 33 played minutes AFC Hoogdonk got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Goegebeur. Elias Vissenaekers did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Mathieux Balckmans 35 minutes into the match. Mathieu Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Waulsort's Dieter Wiggers in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Hoogdonk's goalie prevented a goal. Dieter Wiggers might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pieter-Jan Goethuys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieter Wiggers ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Elias Vissenaekers made the kick off in the second half. Binjamin Libesoons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Hoogdonk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Dieter Wiggers scored to the left of an out of position Pieter-Jan Goethuys, making the score, 1-3. Mathieu Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Van Geestel took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pieter-Jan Goethuys. Pieter-Jan Goethuys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 76 minutes into the match, AFC Hoogdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Wiggers came free, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Waulsort booed when AFC Hoogdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Slabbaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Dieter Wiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathieux Balckmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pino Colebinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pino Colebinders hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Dieter Wiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Hoogdonk's Pieter-Jan Goethuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieter Wiggers in the 96th minute of play.
