Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tommi Van Meerbek made the kick off and thus started the match. If Jose Delamenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Jose Delamenin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maarten De Maesschalck was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Frank Verhofstadt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Wolfsem FC's Maarten De Maesschalck threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jose Delamenin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute Wart Boffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarten De Maesschalck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wolfsem FC's Jose Delamenin got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastien Van Kelf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Maarten De Maesschalck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Jose Delamenin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maarten De Maesschalck. Jose Delamenin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jose Delamenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Denis Smolders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolfsem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Smolders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maarten De Maesschalck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Jose Delamenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarten De Maesschalck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maarten De Maesschalck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastien Van Kelf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Wolfsem FC's Jose Delamenin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Jose Delamenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maarten De Maesschalck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Delamenin ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the game, Jose Delamenin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maarten De Maesschalck. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Delamenin to make the kick off. Denis Smolders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Maarten De Maesschalck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maarten De Maesschalck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Delamenin went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 56 minutes, Jose Delamenin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfsem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Delamenin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Wolfsem FC's Wart Boffin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maarten De Maesschalck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wart Boffin struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Maarten De Maesschalck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolfsem FC. In the 62nd minute, Jose Delamenin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wart Boffin in the 64th minute of play forced KFC Desse 's goalkeeper Maarten De Maesschalck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Desse 's Maarten De Maesschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Delamenin in the 65th minute of play. If Charl Ceustermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wart Boffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Delamenin in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maarten De Maesschalck saved KFC Desse from getting behind. Jose Delamenin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarten De Maesschalck having to interfere. Maarten De Maesschalck came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolfsem FC's Denis Smolders. But to his dismay, Denis Smolders quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. KFC Desse 's Maarten De Maesschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Delamenin in the 85th minute of play. Maarten De Maesschalck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Delamenin in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Wart Boffin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolfsem FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 90 played minutes KFC Desse got a freekick which was hit by Sebbe Lanen. Jose Delamenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arno Van De Velden struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Maarten De Maesschalck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolfsem FC. When Wolfsem FC's Jose Delamenin in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Desse 's goalie prevented a goal. Wolfsem FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
