Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diedrik Pastijns started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Haverzee getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Steven Weygaers hit a great ball. Steffen Roockeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Stroobans in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jordy Stroobans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Roockeloes was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Pierre-Paul Schepens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steffen Roockeloes. Pierre-Paul Schepens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Jordy Stroobans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steffen Roockeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Stroobans in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piet Meersmans in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steffen Roockeloes saved Haverzee from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Jordy Stroobans made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Haverzee's Steffen Roockeloes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jordy Stroobans managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Vladsloo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordy Stroobans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steffen Roockeloes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Haverzee's Jan-Joost Van Clijnebreugel got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Jordy Stroobans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VC Vladsloo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Piet Meersmans came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the VC Vladsloo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piet Meersmans couldn't finish the play. Jordy Stroobans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haverzee's goalkeeper Steffen Roockeloes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haverzee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jordy Stroobans scored to the left of an out of position Steffen Roockeloes, making the score, 8-0. If Piet Meersmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Joost Van Clijnebreugel charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Joost Van Clijnebreugel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Haverzee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Joost Van Clijnebreugel to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jordy Stroobans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steffen Roockeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Stroobans in the 55th minute of the match. Steffen Roockeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Stroobans in the 59th minute of play. Herbert Gyselincx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordy Stroobans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Haverzee's zone, Herbert Gyselincx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Roockeloes came out of the goal and Herbert Gyselincx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Alexandre Engelborghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Roockeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haverzee's Bruno De Baere got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steffen Roockeloes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordy Stroobans's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Haverzee's Jan-Joost Van Clijnebreugel got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Jordy Stroobans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steffen Roockeloes. Haverzee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jordy Stroobans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Jordy Stroobans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Steffen Roockeloes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffen Roockeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Stroobans in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Piet Meersmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Roockeloes was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Jordy Stroobans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Haverzee's zone, Piet Meersmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Roockeloes came out of the goal and Piet Meersmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Haverzee's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Stroobans came free, but Steffen Roockeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Vandommele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 100 minutes into the match, Haverzee's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Stroobans came free, but Steffen Roockeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VC Vladsloo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
