Corneel Gielens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8thth minute of the game Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staak's David Volders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Evert-Jan Vercasteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, KFC Herbuchenne's David Volders threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Qwinten Vercalsteren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The KFC Herbuchenne fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when KFC Herbuchenne's Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. David Volders was a little too slow when Corneel Gielens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience was convinced that Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Volders was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. David Volders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneel Gielens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When KFC Herbuchenne's Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Staak's goalie prevented a goal. David Volders was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Qwinten Vercalsteren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. Corneel Gielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. David Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneel Gielens in the 43rd minute of play forced Staak's goalkeeper David Volders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qwinten Vercalsteren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corneel Gielens to strike the kick off in the second half. Corneel Gielens scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Volders, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Staak's goal looked a bit too open when Corneel Gielens came free, but David Volders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Rogiers in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Volders saved Staak from getting behind. Staak's David Volders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneel Gielens in the 60th minute of play. Angelo Rogiers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. David Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Staak defense, Corneel Gielens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Volders. The Staak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Volders should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Corneel Gielens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Volders. Staak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corneel Gielens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Corneel Gielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Volders having to interfere. David Volders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Tony Van Beersel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dre De kaiser kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The KFC Herbuchenne fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when KFC Herbuchenne's Corneel Gielens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Qwinten De Maerschalckx might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Volders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qwinten De Maerschalckx ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Staak's Gino Stas got a free kick in the 87th minute. David Volders came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Herbuchenne's Corneel Gielens. But to his dismay, Corneel Gielens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the KFC Herbuchenne players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
