Oswald Goens charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 8th minute, Dieter Wiggers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boris Koppen. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruddervoorde's goalkeeper Boris Koppen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mathieu Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Boris Koppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Waulsort's attentive Klaus Styles managed to snatch the ball when Ernst Rits made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Boris Koppen was a little too slow when Dieter Wiggers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. The throw-in from Ernst Rits in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles. Dieter Wiggers succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. If Dieter Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Koppen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Ruddervoorde getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Oswald Goens hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Dieter Wiggers in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Dieter Wiggers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Koppen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Boris Koppen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Wiggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Klaus Styles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gerard Ramps's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Koppen was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Dieter Wiggers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Boris Koppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Klaus Styles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dieter Wiggers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ruddervoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Arnout Van Geestel came free, but Boris Koppen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerard Ramps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walter Leempoels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mathieux Balckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Dieter Wiggers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boris Koppen. Ruddervoorde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieter Wiggers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dieter Wiggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boris Koppen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieter Wiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Dieter Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Dieter Wiggers put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Boris Koppen. Boris Koppen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Waulsort's Dieter Wiggers. But to his dismay, Dieter Wiggers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Adolphe Van Lueven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolphe Van Lueven struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Mathieux Balckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruddervoorde. In the 83rd minute Gerard Ramps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Koppen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieter Wiggers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Boris Koppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Ernst Rits threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dieter Wiggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 94th minute of the match Oswald Goens completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oswald Goens a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
