Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alfons De Ryck made the kick off and thus started the match. When Diego Rogiers fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Wanzele's protests and gave Diego Rogiers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, KV Wanzele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Rogiers to maneuver through the defense. Alfons De Ryck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Joeri Mons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lecleir Sniffing Squad from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Alfons De Ryck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Boegaert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Glenn Van Gestel kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alfons De Ryck struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bob Boegaert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lecleir Sniffing Squad. After having played for 29 minutes, Brend Haemers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brend Haemers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Conrad Kerckmans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Wanzele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lecleir Sniffing Squad the free kick. In the 30th minute, Conrad Kerckmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bob Boegaert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons De Ryck's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of Lecleir Sniffing Squad booed when KV Wanzele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Rix didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lecleir Sniffing Squad fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Alfons De Ryck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Oswald Van Caels scored to the left of an out of position Joeri Mons, making the score, 1-2. Bob Boegaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons De Ryck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Lecleir Sniffing Squad were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oswald Van Caels was the one to do the kick off. Bob Boegaert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons De Ryck in the 51st minute. Joannes Iwens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paul Rix kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Joeri Mons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Verheijd in the 58th minute of the match. Joannes Iwens took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Boegaert. Bob Boegaert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 63rd minute, Michel Verheijd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joeri Mons was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfons De Ryck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bob Boegaert. That made the score 2-5 in the 73 minute of play. Joeri Mons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Van Caels in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfons De Ryck got free with Bob Boegaert in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Alfons De Ryck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bob Boegaert was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Joannes Iwens got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bob Boegaert came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Alfons De Ryck. But to his dismay, Alfons De Ryck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. In the 91st minute Michel Verheijd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Mons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lecleir Sniffing Squad played a much better game than KV Wanzele and deserved their victory. The KV Wanzele players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
