With a little luck, Club Waulsort's Roger Van Clijnenbreugel got control of the ball when Jasper Van der Willeghem tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes KFC Orp-Jauche got a freekick which was hit by Jaques Buyck. After 15 played minutes, Club Waulsort's Ian Smets shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Minnen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Waulsort reached it. Stefan Minnen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dyllan Roeland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erwin Luijten's late challenge caught a KFC Orp-Jauche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erwin Luijten helped the player get up and apologised. Jasper Van der Willeghem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Roger Van Clijnenbreugel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Club Waulsort:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KFC Orp-Jauche:s goal. The referee gave KFC Orp-Jauche a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tommi Vanhaeren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Waulsort's Roger Van Clijnenbreugel. 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dyllan Roeland was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dyllan Roeland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Waulsort's supporters rose to their feet, but Dyllan Roeland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Minnen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludwig Dauwe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Stefan Minnen made a huge save. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andris Carpenter went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. KFC Orp-Jauche's Stefan Minnen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Orp-Jauche from getting a goal against them. When Ludwig Dauwe came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Club Waulsort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Dauwe couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Waulsort players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KFC Orp-Jauche.
