Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ritchie De Raemaekers started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's goalkeeper Vicente Ketelers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's Simon Mortier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joeri Mons made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Alfons De Ryck in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Alfons De Ryck put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vicente Ketelers. Joeri Mons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Vanden Bussche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Lecleir Sniffing Squad got a freekick which was hit by Michael Manaers. Tran Goebelens was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Bartjan Kerstens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lecleir Sniffing Squad the free kick. If Ritchie De Raemaekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joeri Mons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritchie De Raemaekers in the 35th minute of the match. Alfons De Ryck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Vicente Ketelers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vicente Ketelers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joannes Iwens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Lecleir Sniffing Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Ritchie De Raemaekers came free, but Joeri Mons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Geoffry Stuyck threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Oscar De Boel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 47 minutes of play KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's Bartjan Kerstens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th minute, Bartjan Kerstens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfons De Ryck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfons De Ryck made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Alfons De Ryck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vicente Ketelers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute of the match Brend Haemers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Ketelers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joeri Mons made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ritchie De Raemaekers sent off a good shot on target. Simon Mortier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Joeri Mons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Tomas Vanden Bussche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Mons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Alfons De Ryck sped through KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Ketelers. Alfons De Ryck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Ketelers having to interfere. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Joeri Mons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Vanden Bussche in the 91st minute of play. Simon Mortier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Joeri Mons made a huge save. The supporters of KFC Velzeke-Ruddershove booed when Lecleir Sniffing Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar De Boel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Lecleir Sniffing Squad players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
