Spectators: 8121 (Terracing: 6093, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valentin Mikaelsson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Albert Fabry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Van Heerle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Odegaard's Carlos Neefs got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Westkust's zone, Lionel Aelgoet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Giliusson came out of the goal and Lionel Aelgoet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Van Heerle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Fabry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Dimitri Van Den Broek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Odegaard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri Van Den Broek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Westkust's Valentin Mikaelsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominik Van Heerle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albert Fabry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dominik Van Heerle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magne Giliusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Hustinx in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Valentin Mikaelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Odegaard's Dominik Van Heerle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Dimitri Van Den Broek fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Odegaard's protests and gave Dimitri Van Den Broek a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lionel Aelgoet to make the kick off. With his leg Dominik Van Heerle managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Westkust's Valentin Mikaelsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albert Fabry struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dominik Van Heerle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westkust. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Mikaelsson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Van Heerle saved FC Odegaard from getting behind. Valentin Mikaelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Dominik Van Heerle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lionel Aelgoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Giliusson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Valentin Mikaelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Van Heerle was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Gerrit Hustinx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Odegaard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Westkust's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Van Den Broek came free, but Magne Giliusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Fabry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Van Heerle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes FC Odegaard got a freekick which was hit by Oliver De Paepe. A hard shot 88 in the game by Valentin Mikaelsson from a close distance when the talented Dominik Van Heerle managed to make a qualified save. FC Odegaard's players were relieved. Gonzalo Jenaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dominik Van Heerle firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valentin Mikaelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Van Heerle having to interfere. Dominik Van Heerle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Mikaelsson in the 95th minute of the match. Westkust's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
