This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Timmy Velkeneers as he didn't even see the shot coming. Magne Giliusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoachim Van Acker, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gonzalo Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wommelgem getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ludwig Nelis hit a great ball. When Thibau Vissenaekens came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Wommelgem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thibau Vissenaekens couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Westkust's Fabian Eftimescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Thibau Vissenaekens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wommelgem's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibau Vissenaekens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Giliusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Westkust's goal looked a bit too open when Thibau Vissenaekens came free, but Magne Giliusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Wommelgem got a corner. Westkust's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommas Saelens ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tommas Saelens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Westkust's Magne Giliusson did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Fabry in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timmy Velkeneers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Mikaelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Timmy Velkeneers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Mikaelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Timmy Velkeneers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Westkust's Valentin Mikaelsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 44th minute, Valentin Mikaelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westkust fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Valentin Mikaelsson made the kick off in the second half. Magne Giliusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoachim Van Acker in the 51st minute of the match. Timmy Velkeneers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Mikaelsson's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Eric de Cijser took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timmy Velkeneers. Wommelgem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Westkust's Valentin Mikaelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Westkust fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Westkust's Valentin Mikaelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th match minute, Wommelgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Nelis to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Mikaelsson scored 7-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timmy Velkeneers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute Albert Fabry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Velkeneers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibau Vissenaekens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magne Giliusson having to make a save. The supporters of Wommelgem booed when Westkust was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Eftimescu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
