The referee ignored De Wellense Pottestampers's protests and gave Anthony Lenoir a yellow card for diving instead. Anthony Lenoir hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gerrit Hustinx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charly Van Boxstael kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Miguel Rondou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Van Heerle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The wind increased when Miguel Rondou made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Odegaard's Dimitri Van Den Broek got a free kick in the 51st minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Matías Suárez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Wellense Pottestampers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Suárez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Rondou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominik Van Heerle came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Rondou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. The De Wellense Pottestampers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franky Uytterhaegen should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, De Wellense Pottestampers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Suárez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel Aelgoet in the 65th minute of play forced De Wellense Pottestampers's goalkeeper Franky Uytterhaegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
