After having played for 2 minutes, Carlos Keldermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Meulemans during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, De Rudies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Meulemans to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th match minute, Nothing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gery Langhmans to maneuver through the defense. If Remy Bekaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Keldermans in the 14th minute of play forced Nothing's goalkeeper Ksawery Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Remy Bekaert could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Ksawery Gdowski however easily saved by the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Keldermans was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Keldermans might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ksawery Gdowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Keldermans ran back to his position shaking his head. Ksawery Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Bekaert in the 54th minute of play. Nothing's Ksawery Gdowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Keldermans in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Carlos Keldermans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nothing's Ksawery Gdowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De Rudies's Remy Bekaert got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corrado Spano during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Corrado Spano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Carlos Keldermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Gdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Meulemans might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ksawery Gdowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Meulemans ran back to his position shaking his head. Corrado Spano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Wiggers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Remy Bekaert notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nothing's Ksawery Gdowski. Ksawery Gdowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ksawery Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Bekaert in the 95th minute of play. Nothing's Ksawery Gdowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Bekaert in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the De Rudies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
