The wind increased when Guy Tijs made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Team in Construction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Vrints to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Van Beersel made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Etienne Montens sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Team in Construction's goalkeeper Kenny Van Beersel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Paul Van Wontergem. The supporters of Yellow City Devils booed when Team in Construction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Tijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jordy Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Gunther Helssens notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Yellow City Devils's Alphonse Dumont. Alphonse Dumont was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guy Tijs in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alphonse Dumont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the game, Pierre-Paul Van Wontergem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenny Van Beersel. Pierre-Paul Van Wontergem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. The Team in Construction fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yellow City Devils were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
