Spectators: 7854 (Terracing: 5973, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yoachim Van Acker kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Etienne Montens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timmy Velkeneers was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 4th minute, Gert Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Etienne Montenss short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Timmy Velkeneers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 6thth minute of the game Etienne Montens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wommelgem's Timmy Velkeneers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alphonse Dumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoachim Van Acker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joannes Van Meerbeeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Etienne Montens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Thibau Vissenaekens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wommelgem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yellow City Devils the free kick. In the 17th minute, Thibau Vissenaekens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeffrey Putman charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeffrey Putman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeffrey Putman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alphonse Dumont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoachim Van Acker, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Timmy Velkeneers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etienne Montens, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Timmy Velkeneers came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Yellow City Devils's Dimitry De Weerdt. But to his dismay, Dimitry De Weerdt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Yellow City Devils's Etienne Montens was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Etienne Montens in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Timmy Velkeneers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 35 minutes, Etienne Montens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yellow City Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etienne Montens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitry De Weerdt got free with Timmy Velkeneers in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Yellow City Devils getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Etienne Montens hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Yellow City Devils's Dimitry De Weerdt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timmy Velkeneers. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. The supporters of Wommelgem booed when Yellow City Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilian Matthieu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Yoachim Van Acker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yellow City Devils's Alphonse Dumont was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jeffrey Putman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Velkeneers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Montens in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Etienne Montens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wommelgem's Timmy Velkeneers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 played minutes, Yellow City Devils's Joannes Van Meerbeeck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timmy Velkeneers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yellow City Devils reached it. Timmy Velkeneers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Etienne Montens's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wommelgem's zone, Jeffrey Putman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Velkeneers came out of the goal and Jeffrey Putman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Etienne Montens notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Wommelgem's Timmy Velkeneers. Timmy Velkeneers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Yellow City Devils fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Yellow City Devils's Etienne Montens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 85 played minutes Wommelgem got a freekick which was hit by Terry Persoens. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Etienne Montens in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timmy Velkeneers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Etienne Montens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timmy Velkeneers was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Etienne Montens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timmy Velkeneers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Ronny Engelborgh kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yellow City Devils had played much better football throughout.
