Gery Langhmans struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kenny Van Beersel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nothing. Christoffel De Worteleere hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Bernard Colebrants was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team in Construction's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nothing the free kick. A collision led to Team in Construction getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bernard Colebrants hit a great ball. Bernard Colebrants got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 22 played minutes Team in Construction got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Colebrants. In the 24th minute, Gunther Helssens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team in Construction fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ksawery Gdowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Van Achteren in the 26th minute of the match. When Bert Suteweij came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Team in Construction fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Suteweij couldn't finish the play. If Jordy Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luke Spoelberghe kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team in Construction's goalkeeper Kenny Van Beersel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Julien Vrints made a precise shot to the right of Ksawery Gdowski. Nothing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Team in Construction's Julien Vrints, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Team in Construction. 45 minutes into the match, Jordy Van Achteren notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nothing's Ksawery Gdowski. Ksawery Gdowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Bento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gery Langhmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenny Van Beersel having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Nothing's zone, Julien Vrints stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Gdowski came out of the goal and Julien Vrints tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corrado Spano was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th match minute, Nothing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Spano to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Jordy Van Achteren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ksawery Gdowski. The goal made the score 0-4. Jordy Van Achteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Gdowski having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Jordy Van Achteren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nothing's zone, Julien Vrints stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Gdowski came out of the goal and Julien Vrints tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Gunther Helssens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ksawery Gdowski. Nothing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunther Helssens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Gery Langhmans did an outstanding performance 92 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-6 to the right of an irritated Kenny Van Beersel in the goal. Ksawery Gdowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herman Thielemans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 95 minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Team in Construction were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Nothing side.
