Ruben Ingelborgs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedrik Voorhof having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Renaud Van Beylen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Oordegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moalen the free kick. Renaud Van Beylen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, RSC Oordegem's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Dejonghe came free, but Kenn Uytterhoeven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes in the game, Pino Jennes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kenn Uytterhoeven having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Michael Dejonghe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Dejonghe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenn Uytterhoeven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Dejonghe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Kenn Uytterhoeven when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the game, Claus Pelleman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cedrik Voorhof was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of RSC Oordegem booed when Moalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur De Geutter didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to RSC Oordegem getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stefaan Van Der Taelen hit a great ball. Michael Dejonghes short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Kenn Uytterhoeven to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Pino Jennes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Dejonghe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Pino Jennes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moalen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to RSC Oordegem getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Franck Parmentier hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, RSC Oordegem's Ruben Ingelborgs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedrik Voorhof narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Moalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathis Geest to maneuver through the defense. When Moalen's Michael Dejonghe in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSC Oordegem's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Pino Jennes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pino Jennes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Ingelborgs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Cedrik Voorhof made a huge save. If Pino Jennes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Dejonghe in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenn Uytterhoeven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Moalen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
