In the 4th minute, Rajmond Dhollander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Krankenhause FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to KVWZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tibaut Goffeyn hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Raf Portmans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Deswarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Isemborgh got free with Reinaud Maeijnaerts in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kim Dauwen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Dauwen scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Deswarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steven Pastijns charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steven Pastijns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Senne Vermeiren scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Deswarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaud Maeijnaerts made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marnix Laurent sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to KVWZ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Renzo Vanbuyten hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marnix Laurent to strike the kick off in the second half. Rajmond Dhollander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Octavian Demarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Krankenhause FC got a freekick which was hit by Steven Pastijns. KVWZ's Marnix Laurent got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Krankenhause FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Raf Portmans hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Krankenhause FC's Steven Pastijns got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, KVWZ's Tibaut Goffeyn got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute, Luk Van Campenhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Dauwen got free with Ferdinand Deswarte in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KVWZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Krankenhause FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
