Paul Van Herendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Klaes in the 95th minute. Laércio Paraíba was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for KV Ertvelde. Andries Cantillon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paul Van Herendael. 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KV Ertvelde walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
