The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik-Jan Van De Look was the one to do the kick off. Krankenhause FC's Rajmond Dhollander got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herald Van Schoorisse kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Dauwen in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Van Herendael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the game, Krankenhause FC's Edward Huveneers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Van Herendael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Koekelare MFC's Paul Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senne Vermeiren in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Koekelare MFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Huveneers came free, but Paul Van Herendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Kim Dauwen made a precise shot to the right of Paul Van Herendael. Koekelare MFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Paul Van Herendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajmond Dhollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Paul Van Herendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Huveneers in the 67th minute of play. If Rajmond Dhollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Kim Dauwen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Van Herendael. Koekelare MFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Dauwen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Paul Van Herendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Dauwen in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Reemy Hemelaer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krankenhause FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reemy Hemelaer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Van Herendael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Kim Dauwen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Van Herendael was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Paul Van Herendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Dauwen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senne Vermeiren in the 82nd minute of play forced Koekelare MFC's goalkeeper Paul Van Herendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Koekelare MFC's zone, Edward Huveneers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Van Herendael came out of the goal and Edward Huveneers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herald Van Schoorisse kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Edward Huveneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Van Herendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
