Lennart Peeters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Van Den Broek in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Fabrice Gyselinckx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Peeters. Ultras Muizen 367's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrice Gyselinckx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Edwin Ramps put in a rough tackle. In the 18th minute, Edwin Ramps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joop Van Den Broek in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Peeters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ultras Muizen 367's Lennart Peeters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernand Dauwen in the 21st minute of play. Lennart Peeters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Van Den Broek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Peeters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joop Van Den Broek, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute Fabrice Gyselinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Peeters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin-Alexander Vrankx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannik De Kerpel in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the game Freddy Vandommele made a throw-in which Kenny Lambrecht played forward. When Fabrice Gyselinckx came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Leghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrice Gyselinckx couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes FC Leghem got a freekick which was hit by Fernand Dauwen. Joop Van Den Broek scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Peeters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yannik De Kerpel to make the kick off. When Joop Van Den Broek came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Leghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joop Van Den Broek couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Fernand Dauwen notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Ultras Muizen 367's Lennart Peeters. Lennart Peeters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lennart Peeters made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fabrice Gyselinckx sent off a good shot on target. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lennart Peeters firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lennart Peeters was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernand Dauwen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 88 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ultras Muizen 367's goal looked a bit too open when Fernand Dauwen came free, but Lennart Peeters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Peeters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Van Den Broek in the 97th minute of the match. The Ultras Muizen 367 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Leghem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
