Erwin-Alexander Vrankx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Joop Van Den Broek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henri-Patrick Roelandts's late challenge caught a FC Leghem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Leghem's Erwin-Alexander Vrankx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Van den Inde in the 18th minute of play. Jakob Colpaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin-Alexander Vrankx having to interfere. FC Leghem's Erwin-Alexander Vrankx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Colpaert in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Sergio Van den Inde managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Van den Inde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwin-Alexander Vrankx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erwin-Alexander Vrankx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Van den Inde in the 31st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Van den Inde made a kick off. Joop Van Den Broek struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jozef Gielis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Leghem. When Jakob Colpaert came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakob Colpaert got free with Erwin-Alexander Vrankx in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lieven Huybrechts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erwin-Alexander Vrankx came out and tried to block the shot, but Lieven Huybrechts slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 88th minute. Erwin-Alexander Vrankx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Van den Inde in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Sergio Van den Inde rounded FC Leghem's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
