Ivan Van Der Veecken hit a great ball. Serge Van Linthoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanouil Tsioris in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Van Der Veecken was the one to do the kick off. If Jilian Andriesens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Bierbeek's Dre Reynaerts got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Dre Reynaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jilian Andriesens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Vermeiren came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by RSC Anderlecht's Richard Van De Putts. But to his dismay, Richard Van De Putts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jilian Andriesens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
