Club Leeuwergem's Vilhelm Fristedt got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Leeuwergem's Kurt Kesters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club Leeuwergem from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nickolas Verbeeck in the 31st minute of play forced AFC Schaarbeek's goalkeeper Georges Kesters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Schaarbeek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles-Louis Vrancken was the one to do the kick off. Georges Kesters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Club Leeuwergem's Nickolas Verbeeck got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Fristedt in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georges Kesters saved AFC Schaarbeek from getting behind. 96 minutes into the game, Club Leeuwergem's Nickolas Verbeeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
