Nieuwpoort Club's Alphonse Roockeloos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kurt Kesters in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kurt Kesters made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Orville Darling sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Nieuwpoort Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kristof Van Dongel hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Nieuwpoort Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nickolas Verbeeck came free, but Kevin Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nieuwpoort Club's Kevin Dawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolas Verbeeck in the 16th minute of play. Kevin Dawson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Kevin Dawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolas Verbeeck in the 20th minute of play. Vilhelm Fristedt struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Kevin Dawson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Leeuwergem. In the 26th minute, Johan Persoons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orville Darling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kurt Kesters came out and tried to block the shot, but Orville Darling slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Zelipe Sauca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kurt Kesters, passed just outside the right post. In the 31stth minute of the game Orville Darling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Leeuwergem's Kurt Kesters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Nieuwpoort Club booed when Club Leeuwergem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius van Bedts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orville Darling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Kurt Kesters made a huge save. Kevin Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolas Verbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zelipe Sauca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Kesters having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Orville Darling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Kesters was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Nickolas Verbeeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Dawson having to interfere. In the 95th minute Zelipe Sauca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Kesters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Nieuwpoort Club's Orville Darling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Kesters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
