The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomm Caes helped the player get up and apologised. Tomm Caes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Schouters in the 22nd minute of play forced Nieuwpoort Club's goalkeeper Kevin Dawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristof Van Dongel kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Joel Schouters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Dawson having to interfere. Zelipe Sauca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toon De Swert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Nieuwpoort Club's Zelipe Sauca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brain Fierens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KV Rattendaal's Stein Severens got a free kick in the 40th minute. Brain Fierens came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Nieuwpoort Club's Orville Darling. But to his dismay, Orville Darling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alphonse Roockeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Yens Herpoel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kevin Dawson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Schouters was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Binjamin Van Landschoot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nieuwpoort Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binjamin Van Landschoot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Toon De Swert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Rattendaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nieuwpoort Club the free kick. A collision led to KV Rattendaal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Toon De Swert hit a great ball. If Orville Darling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Nieuwpoort Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Urbina to maneuver through the defense. Brain Fierens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orville Darling's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zelipe Sauca in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brain Fierens saved KV Rattendaal from getting behind. After a rather tough play, KV Rattendaal's Stein Severens got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Zelipe Sauca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain Fierens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Zelipe Sauca notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of KV Rattendaal's Brain Fierens. Brain Fierens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zelipe Sauca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nieuwpoort Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joel Schouters 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. KV Rattendaal's Stein Severens got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Stein Severens off the ground. In the 86th match minute, KV Rattendaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stein Severens to maneuver through the defense. Nieuwpoort Club were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after KV Rattendaal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alphonse Roockeloos took the corner. Nieuwpoort Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
