In the 9th match minute, FC Flat Beat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tran Hendricks to maneuver through the defense. If Herbert Heirremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nieuwpoort Club booed when FC Flat Beat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Heirremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjorn Switten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Orville Darling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toon De Middeleer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Nieuwpoort Club got a freekick which was hit by Hector Steckens. When Giannis Ioannidis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FC Flat Beat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Ioannidis couldn't finish the play. Kevin Dawson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjorn Switten, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes FC Flat Beat got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Heirremans. Herbert Heirremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matijs Cremers was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Matijs Cremers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Flat Beat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matijs Cremers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matijs Cremers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Dawson having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Herbert Heirremans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toon De Middeleer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelipe Sauca in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, one of FC Flat Beat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Flat Beat. Toon De Middeleer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alphonse Roockeloos went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zelipe Sauca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Flat Beat's Giannis Ioannidis got a free kick in the 74th minute. FC Flat Beat's Toon De Middeleer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Flat Beat from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Nieuwpoort Club booed when FC Flat Beat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tran Hendricks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nieuwpoort Club's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 85th minute of the game, when Alphonse Roockeloos after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of FC Flat Beat's goal. Alphonse Roockeloos was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 88th minute, Tran Hendricks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nieuwpoort Club's Kevin Dawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Ioannidis in the 97th minute of play. The FC Flat Beat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nieuwpoort Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
