In the 21st minute, one of Club Leeuwergem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Leeuwergem. Club Leeuwergem:s Kurt Kesters showed great skill when he stopped Arne Heirpoel:s penalty. In the 22nd minute, Arne Heirpoel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Kesters was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A hard shot 27 in the game by Luukas Van Gysel from a close distance when the talented Kurt Kesters managed to make a qualified save. Club Leeuwergem's players were relieved. Club Leeuwergem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luukas Van Gysel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nickolas Verbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Roy Verbeke's late challenge caught a Tongeren FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Verbeke helped the player get up and apologised. Roy Verbeke hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Kurt Kesters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luukas Van Gysel in the 98th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tongeren FC had won after a very even match.
