Rens Van Damme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rens Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ahlroht, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The corner led to Lichten's Andries Rompen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliusz Bienienda came free, but Rens Van Damme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Aureliusz Bienienda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rens Van Damme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Aureliusz Bienienda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rens Van Damme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliusz Bienienda's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Trifon Iskrenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Ahlroht was the one to do the kick off. After 72 minutes of play, Lichten's Aureliusz Bienienda made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rens Van Damme was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aureliusz Bienienda came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lichten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliusz Bienienda couldn't finish the play. If Aureliusz Bienienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilídio Malafaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Dewinter in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Lichten's goal looked a bit too open when Boudewijn Dewinter came free, but Ilídio Malafaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Ahlroht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anton Ahlroht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rens Van Damme made a huge save. Lichten's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
