Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Niels Van De Velden started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, KAMPFSCHWEINEN's goal looked a bit too open when Georges-Philippe Mampaerts came free, but Piet Rouvoet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Piet Rouvoet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges-Philippe Mampaerts in the 5th minute of play. After 10 played minutes, FC Kroeters's Dave Himschoot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Piet Rouvoet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Kroeters reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves De Swert in the 12th minute of play forced KAMPFSCHWEINEN's goalkeeper Piet Rouvoet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes KAMPFSCHWEINEN got a freekick which was hit by Matty De Block. Lex Verhagen charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lex Verhagen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, KAMPFSCHWEINEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lex Verhagen to maneuver through the defense. Piet Rouvoet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebbe Conincx in the 19th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Georges-Philippe Mampaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Kroeters's Yves De Swert got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piet Rouvoet came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kroeters's Tommi De Bruyn. But to his dismay, Tommi De Bruyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Piet Rouvoet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebbe Conincx, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Niels Van De Velden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Claude Renotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Tommi De Bruyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piet Rouvoet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAMPFSCHWEINEN's goalkeeper Piet Rouvoet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommi De Bruyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Piet Rouvoet managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when FC Kroeters's Tommi De Bruyn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 71 in the game by Tommi De Bruyn from a close distance when the talented Piet Rouvoet managed to make a qualified save. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's players were relieved. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Lex Verhagen got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Lex Verhagen off the ground. Tommi De Bruyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Piet Rouvoet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Stein Vits managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stein Vits was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 81 in the game by Tommi De Bruyn from a close distance when the talented Piet Rouvoet managed to make a qualified save. KAMPFSCHWEINEN's players were relieved. Niels Van De Velden charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sebbe Conincx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommi De Bruyn took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piet Rouvoet. Piet Rouvoet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tommi De Bruyn hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. FC Kroeters played a much better game than KAMPFSCHWEINEN and deserved their victory. The KAMPFSCHWEINEN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
