An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam-Lucas Nijs in the 2nd minute of play forced comeback's goalkeeper Gino Van Haeght to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Răzvan Pisculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Răzvan Pisculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gino Van Haeght was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Van Haeght showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Pisculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Elias Coveliers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sam-Lucas Nijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias Coveliers's late challenge caught a comeback's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Coveliers helped the player get up and apologised. Elias Coveliers kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Răzvan Pisculescu made a precise shot to the right of Gino Van Haeght. comeback's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Răzvan Pisculescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gino Van Haeght. comeback's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Răzvan Pisculescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, comeback's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Coveliers came free, but Gino Van Haeght reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Van Haeght came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Berliner Bären's Elias Coveliers. But to his dismay, Elias Coveliers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 38th minute Răzvan Pisculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Van Haeght saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. comeback's Gino Van Haeght played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Pisculescu in the 40th minute of play. Elias Coveliers succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. The supporters of comeback booed when Berliner Bären was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Pisculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute Erik Tuytgans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Roelants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well placed Răzvan Pisculescu short distance shot in the 59th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 63rd minute Sylvan Owerckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Roelants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Răzvan Pisculescu took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Gino Van Haeght to make any attempt to save it. If Erik Tuytgans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Pisculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gino Van Haeght was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 73 minutes of play, Berliner Bären's Răzvan Pisculescu made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gino Van Haeght was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Răzvan Pisculescu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Berliner Bären fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Pisculescu couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, comeback's goal looked a bit too open when Sam-Lucas Nijs came free, but Gino Van Haeght reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. comeback's Gino Van Haeght played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam-Lucas Nijs in the 84th minute of play. Elias Coveliers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gino Van Haeght read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
