Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 5978, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacky Van Linthout took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Jacky Van Linthout cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rens Van Damme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacky Van Linthout in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rens Van Damme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wart Jans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boudewijn Dewinter in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Jacky Van Linthout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea's Rens Van Damme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Jacky Van Linthout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tikki Mo Salah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jacky Van Linthout took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rens Van Damme. Rens Van Damme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Chelsea's Boudewijn Dewinter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wart Jans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Roderik Worteler came free, but Rens Van Damme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacky Van Linthout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rens Van Damme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rens Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacky Van Linthout, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ief Verhaghen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Berten De Worteleere hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tikki Mo Salah's Wart Jans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip van Hagenborgh in the 52nd minute of play. If Jacky Van Linthout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rens Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Van Linthout in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Berten De Worteleere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wart Jans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Smeulders in the 61st minute of the match. The corner led Chelsea's Gery Goddez to fire away a dangerous shot which Wart Jans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacky Van Linthout in the 74th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Rens Van Damme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanny Castermans came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rens Van Damme could save by the left post. Wart Jans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didier Demeester in the 78th minute of play. Rens Van Damme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanny Castermans in the 79th minute of the match. If Stan Smeulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rens Van Damme made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jacky Van Linthout sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Jacky Van Linthout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacky Van Linthout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wart Van den Berge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rens Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacky Van Linthout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tikki Mo Salah played a much better game than Chelsea and deserved their victory. The Chelsea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
