The tension between the FC Kroeters and the Berliner Bären players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Sproten hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Berliner Bären got a corner. FC Kroeters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hakan Kaya ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elias Coveliers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Renotte having to interfere. With his leg Viktor Roelants managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FC Kroeters's Tommi De Bruyn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute Sam-Lucas Nijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Renotte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Georges Michiels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Hakan Kaya sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Kroeters's Claude Renotte didn't even have to move. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Răzvan Pisculescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Kroeters's Ritchie Wortelaert got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to Berliner Bären getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Coveliers couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Elias Coveliers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berliner Bären's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Coveliers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Kroeters were victorious despite being under pressure from Berliner Bären for much of the match.
